Consultation Meetings on Draft Preliminary Consolidated MHSW
Material-Specific Plans (Volume 2) - May 21, 22, 25, 27

and How to Provide Comments on Draft Plans (Deadline 2 p.m. EDT, Friday, May 29)

Stewardship Ontario is conducting a series of meetings to obtain input on the material-specific plans (Volume 2 of the Draft Preliminary MHSW Consolidated Plan). This document contains 22 individual material plans and is available at http://www.stewardshipontario.ca/mhsw/pdf/plan/mhsw_plan_may14_09_vol2.pdf.

These meetings will be via the internet (GoToMeeting). Depending on demand, Stewardship Ontario is also providing participants with the option of attending in person. Should this be the case, registrants will be contacted directly to provide further detail on meeting location.  An opportunity to indicate your preferred meeting format is provided at the time of registration. A link to registration is provided below.  

Technical Working Group members as well as members of the public are invited to participate in these material-specific consultations. The sessions are expected to run for approximately two hours each. A summary of the key issues for each material group will be provided. The meetings  also  will allow for individual "questions and answers."

These material-specific meetings complement the Consultation Workshop/Webcast on the Draft Preliminary Revised MHSW Plan that took place on May 19th, from 1-4 pm, which consulted on the overall program architecture.

How to provide comments on the  Draft Preliminary Consolidated MHSW  Program Plan 

Stewardship Ontario has prepared an online survey to enable stakeholders to submit comments on the revised and consolidated Municipal Hazardous or Special Waste Waste (MHSW) Program Plan.
