Updated Versions of Draft Preliminary Consolidated MHSW Program Plan Posted to Stewardship Ontario Website and Deadline to Comment Extended to June 2

Please be advised that Stewardship Ontario has posted updated versions of both volumes of the Draft Preliminary Consolidated MHSW Program Plan on its website. The newest version of the plan contains the following notable corrections and updates:

• Targets and costs for batteries have been corrected
• Quantities and cost to manage fluorescents in waste electronics have been added
• Quantities of Phase 1 materials collected through the municipal channel from July 2008 to March 2009 in Table 4.6 have been corrected
• Material-specific Research and Development budgets have been adjusted for all materials
• Cost tables in section 7 have been updated

In order to give all interested parties time to review these changes, Stewardship Ontario has extended the deadline for submitting feedback to June 2nd at 4 p.m. (Toronto time).
