Draft Final Consolidated MHSW Program Plan Submitted to Waste Diversion Ontario and Posted on WDO Website

Stewardship Ontario has submitted a Draft Final Consolidated MHSW Program Plan to Waste Diversion Ontario (WDO) for review. WDO has posted the Plan and accompanying documents on its website at: http://www.wdo.ca/news/?id=177155.

The deadline for providing comments to WDO is noon (12 p.m.) on Tuesday July 21, 2009. Comments received after this deadline will not be considered.

The Plan will be reviewed at a meeting of WDO’s Board of Directors scheduled for July 22, 2009. At this meeting, WDO will evaluate whether to a) request that Stewardship Ontario modify the Plan or
b) approve the Plan and forward it to the Minister (for review and approval). Comments submitted by the deadline will be considered in the evaluation process.
