Blue Box Program Rules Archive

The Rules that govern the Blue Box Program Plan (BBPP) are modified each year for
the following reasons:

  • Annual address changes to dates,
  • Annual changes in material fee rates,
  • Clarify the Rules for stewards, and
  • Address shortcomings that come to the attention of Stewardship Ontario to ensure a level playing field.

2009 Rules: covers the period of January 1 to December 31, 2009

2008 Rules: covers the period of January 1 to December 31, 2008

2007 Rules: covers the period of January 1 to December 31, 2007

2006 Rules: covers the period of January 1 to December 31, 2006

*NOTE: These rules do not reflect the change to the CNA/OCNA fee rate for newsprint resulting from the change to the CNA/OCNA in-kind contribution as directed by the Minister of the Environment, when she approved the 2005 Fees in December 2004.
