Penalties & Interest

Stewards who fail to pay fees as set out in the installment schedule shall pay in addition:

A penalty of 10% of the fees due and payable.
Interest at the posted prime interest rate plus 3% on any outstanding balance due.
Only for those Stewards who are notified by December 28, 2009, interest and penalties will be applied on payments received after April 30, 2010.
For Stewards whose notification date is after December 28, 2009, the deadline to file a Steward’s Report and make their first payment is 93 days from the company’s notification date. The first payment is equal to:
- 25% if the reporting deadline is before June 30, 2010
- 50% if the reporting deadline is before September 30, 2010 and,
- 75% if the reporting deadline is before December 1, 2010.

After first payment is made, the regular schedule of payments shall be applicable.

Steward
